There is no universally correct valuation model for emerging Layer-1 blockchains. The honest answer is that the asset class is too young, too dynamic, and too architecturally diverse for any single methodology to achieve consensus. What sophisticated investors can do is construct frameworks that are internally consistent, updated continuously with on-chain data, and calibrated against their own risk tolerance and time horizon.
Several principles tend to anchor the most rigorous approaches. First, separate signal from noise by weighting organic metrics — developer activity, genuine user growth, fee revenue from non-native applications — more heavily than token price momentum.
